Changing your password

Description

The following instruction will show you how to change your password in Citrix Web Access, directly on the 4net Workplace and the Hosted Exchange Webmail.


Attention: If you have set up your e-mail account on another device (e.g. smartphone), the password must also be updated on this device. Otherwise you will not be able to receive e-mails on this device.


Citrix Web Access

Navigate to https://cloud.4net.ch in your Internet browser and log in with your credentials.

Click the settings button in the top-right corner of the page and select Account Settings.


Now click Change password.


Confirm the message with Continue.


Enter your old and twice your new password

The password must meet the following requirements:

  • Does not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
  • Is at least seven characters long
  • Contains characters from three of the following four categories:
    o    English uppercase characters (A through Z)
    o    English lowercase characters (a through z)
    o    Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
    o    Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)


You have successfully changed your password

Contact 4net Support if you have problems changing your password.


4net Workplace

Log on to the 4net Workplace as usual and click on the black bar at the top of the screen shown below.

Now a menu bar of the Citrix Workspace App opens. Select the option Ctrl+Alt+Del.


You will then be redirected to the Windows security options. Here you can set a new password under "Change a password".


Enter your current password and the new password twice below. Use the arrow in the last field or Enter to confirm your entry.


The password must meet the following requirements:

  • Does not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
  • Is at least seven characters long
  • Contains characters from three of the following four categories:
    o    English uppercase characters (A through Z)
    o    English lowercase characters (a through z)
    o    Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
    o    Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)


You have successfully changed your password

Contact 4net Support if you have problems changing your password.


Hosted Exchange mail-account

In your browser, open the page https://owa.4net.ch

Log in with your user credentials.


Select the gear symbol at the top right of the page and select Change password.


Enter your old and new password twice and confirm your entry with save


The password must meet the following requirements:

  • Does not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
  • Is at least seven characters long
  • Contains characters from three of the following four categories:
    o    English uppercase characters (A through Z)
    o    English lowercase characters (a through z)
    o    Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
    o    Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)


You have successfully changed your password
